Norfolk status
Widespread in gardens, hedgerows, parks, woodland and scrub.
Rests with very hairy front legs stretched forward.
The very distinctive larvae can be found in the Autumn.Recorded in 66 (89%) of 74 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1834.
Last Recorded in 2024.
